Non-Profit Transitions focuses the creative management expertise of our team of experienced professionals on each client's unique needs, whether it’s for Interim & Transition Leadership, Management Consulting, or Organizational Restructuring . We respect the past, examine the present, and build for the future.

Interim & Transition Leadership

We provide trained, highly-experienced interim leaders for nonprofit organizations. Our professionals have years of executive experience. Working closely with staff and Board, they ensure the interim period is productive, hard decisions are taken as needed, and leadership succession is smooth.

Interim Leadership tasks often include:

-       Executive management

-       Staffing, program, & finance assessment

-       Governance assistance

-       Executive search support

-       Staff development

-       Program and staffing adjustments as required

-       On-going support for the new ED

Our team of complimentary specialist consultants is always available to provide quick response to identified needs.

Some nonprofits, particularly those who have recently merged, desire a longer interim period, say 18-24 months, to consolidate change. We call this Transition Leadership. We can provide a skillful professional who agrees to longer term, full time management.

Non-Profit Transitions uses the pause between leaders to make change, not mark time.

Organizational Restructuring

Difficult financial times and new market opportunities sometimes require nonprofits to think about restructuring. This could take the form of combining programs, consolidating administrative functions with others, nonprofit joint ventures, or even a formal merger.
